DSS Marketing Privacy Policy

DSS adheres to the following practices to ensure the confidentiality of any and all information we maintain on behalf of our clients or which we otherwise collect in the course of conducting business.

  • Personal Identifying Information (PII)
Individuals who register at the DSS web site, may include Personal Identifying Information (PII). This information can include an individual’s name, postal address, e-mail address, phone number, and other information. At no time will DSS make this information available to any other company or organization for any purpose whatsoever.
  • Changing Personal Information
Subscribers to our monthly newsletter have the ability to view and update their Personal Identifying Information (PII) at any time. This information can include their name, e-mail address and postal address. To update this information, subscribers can indicate "change in personal information" that appears on the Newsletter Registration page of the site.
  • Spam
As detailed in its Anti-Spam Policy, DSS is fully committed to only sending e-mail that recipients have expressed an interest in receiving. We do not allow or condone the transmission of e-mail messages that recipients have not clearly requested.
  • Unsubscribing
DSS has an easy process for subscribers to end their subscription at any time using an “Unsubscribe” link that must appears in all e-mail messages.
  • IP Addresses
DSS collects IP addresses of those browsing our web site as a way of tracking site usage. We do not track any individual person's activities using IP addresses. Instead, we use this information solely to determine the number of times browsers view a page of our site and to aggregate information that allows us to continuously improve the quality of our site.
  • Data Security
DSS keeps all information relating to individuals registering at our web site on a secure server that is only accessible to designated employees. We always use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected.
  • Client Confidentiality
DSS is obliged, under the terms of our client contracts, to safeguard the confidentiality of all information relating to the services we offer each client. In some cases, we are not permitted to even name particular companies as clients of DSS. The terms of the confidentiality clauses of all client contracts are derived in consultation with each client to ensure that sensitive information is not released to any third party. This includes, but is not limited to marketing strategies and objectives.
